Terms of use
Updated for this draft: 22 October 2026. Status: not approved by counsel. No office, team, address, or sales count is stated here.
Who does what
- Buyer. The person who asks to buy a listed name, make an offer, or start a rent-to-own plan.
- Seller. The person who controls a name and asks to list it, or the party that controls one of the catalog names.
- Marketplace. Sleekdomains. We show the names and take requests. We do not charge a card, hold the purchase money, or register the name.
- Registrar. The company where the name is registered. The registrar is the one that can move a name between accounts. Sleekdomains is not the registrar.
- Escrow provider. A separate company that can hold funds during a sale. Escrow.com is the provider we researched. It is not connected. This site does not offer escrow, insurance, or a transfer guarantee.
Using the site
You may browse the catalog and send a request. A buy-now, offer, rent-to-own, contact, or listing submission is a request to the marketplace. It is not a contract of sale, not a payment, and not a transfer.
Prices and fees
Asking prices and 24-month rent-to-own prices are the prices shown on each catalog name. The seller commission on a completed sale is 5%, deducted from the seller's proceeds. A seller whose first listing is submitted on or before January 31, 2027 (America/New_York) pays 0% on sales completed within 6 months of that listing's approval date, then 5%. A seller whose first listing is submitted after that date pays 5%. The 0% window does not start until that first listing is approved. The payout target is within 5 business days after the buyer's payment clears and the registrar transfer is confirmed. This is a target, not a guarantee. The rent-to-own buyer fee is 0%. These figures are published on the pricing page. Counsel has not restated them as a binding fee schedule.
Checkout
Card checkout is not available. “Request purchase” does not charge a card. No payment provider is connected. Escrow.com is not connected.
Names and trademarks
Trademark notes on catalog names are listing research, not a clearance and not a legal opinion. A buyer is responsible for a separate trademark search before using a name as a brand.

Until counsel approves a replacement, do not treat this page as allocating risk among the buyer, the seller, and the marketplace.
