A request, then email, then the registrar.
Card checkout is not open. Nothing on this site charges a card or completes a transfer by itself.
Who does what
- Buyer. The person who asks to buy a listed name, make an offer, or start a rent-to-own plan.
- Seller. The person who controls a name and asks to list it, or the party that controls one of the catalog names.
- Marketplace. Sleekdomains. We show the names and take requests. We do not charge a card, hold the purchase money, or register the name.
- Registrar. The company where the name is registered. The registrar is the one that can move a name between accounts. Sleekdomains is not the registrar.
- Escrow provider. A separate company that can hold funds during a sale. Escrow.com is the provider we researched. It is not connected. This site does not offer escrow, insurance, or a transfer guarantee.
If you want to buy
- Open a name and choose buy now, make an offer, or rent-to-own.
- Send your name and email. That submission is a request. It is not a purchase and it does not take payment.
- The marketplace emails you to confirm the price and how payment will be arranged.
- After payment is arranged, the registrar transfers the name. The exact registrar steps are not written yet. See Transfers.
An offer under the private minimum for a catalog name is declined. The reply does not reveal the number. Rent-to-own on a catalog name uses the listed 24-month price. The buyer fee is 0%.
If you want to sell
- Submit the name on Sell. The status is Pending review. The name is not on the public list.
- An admin may ask for a DNS TXT record. A match shows that the record is present. It does not publish the name.
- Only an admin can set the listing to Published, and only after it is Approved. Listings are never published automatically.
A completed sale pays 5%, taken from the seller's proceeds. A seller whose first listing is submitted on or before January 31, 2027 (America/New_York) pays 0% on sales completed within 6 months of that listing's approval date, then 5%. A seller whose first listing is submitted after that date pays 5%. The 0% window does not start until that first listing is approved. The seller commission on rent-to-own is 5% of the Buy Now price, not of the payment total. It is deducted from the payments as they come in until that commission is satisfied. How each payment is split is pending legal review. The payout target is within 5 business days after the buyer's payment clears and the registrar transfer is confirmed. This is a target, not a guarantee. The payout method and the registrar steps are not defined.
What is not in this version
- No card checkout, and no payment confirmation from this site.
- No connected escrow provider. Escrow.com was researched and is not wired up.
- No insurance and no transfer guarantee.
- No accounts, no published sales count, and no team or office page.
The shorter version of these steps is on the homepage. Support goes through the contact form. Longer notes on choosing a name, reading a listing, transfers, and rent-to-own are in the guides.
